Hi im trying to connect my LG Rumor2 to my laptop with the usb cable, but it is not finding it. I have tried downloading the drivers in the file library with no such luck. I use virgin Mobile and i saw that there was no folder in there for that carrier. Is there any way to get the drivers for the phone? |

The Drivers in the File Library are universal for LG Phones, and allows you to use the MicroSD card in your phone. You will now need to put your Phone in "Mass Storage" Mode to access the files and folders on your MicroSD card. You can get to Mass Storage mode under the "Tools" Menu |

Well doesn't that suck? Because I have been told by several places and online where I bought my phone (Virgin Mobile) that you CAN transfer files via USB with this phone. This is the third time I have been swindled into buying a phone from them that doesn't do what it says. I don't know. I'm pretty sure you guys at LG should do something about that. You know, since it falls back on you guys for not having "created the phone the way THEY said it was." I know a lot of unsatisfied customers because of this. XP It's really very ridiculous to say the least. Virgin Mobile sucks and they will be hearing from me and several others since they keep lying about their phones and the functions they CLAIM to possess. |

Unfortunately you'll have to invest in an MicroSD Card in order to transfer files... A MicroSD card will run about $10.00 or less at any electronic's place or even somthing like Target or WalMart. With the card in the phone and the USB Drivers installed you should be good to go... I'll mention that we need to be a little clearer about needing the MicroSD Card. |
