In August of last year I participated in the Indicade Game Jam, sponsored by LG in Los Angeles, and was able to use the 3D game converter running on AT&T pre-release phones. I purchased my Thrill on the first day of release in September, and found that the 3D game converter was not included. At the Indicade game awards in October, LG again demonstrated the converter on AT&T branded phones, and said that it would be available soon (along with Dolby Mobile sound and automatic image-stabilization for 2D video-capture). The press reported that the game converter was rolled out to the Optimus 3D back in November in a maintenance update, but we still don't have it on the Thrill. Any idea when this will be pushed out by LG? I have used it, so I know it works just fine even without the GB update!

Good question.  I have an inquiry in to the people who can help.  I know there is a Thrill update coming soon.  I'm wondering if it will be part of the update....  Just guessing.  I'll see what I can find out.

I was told that the 3D Game Converter will be part of the GB Update, which should be happening soon.
