I have heard rumors that the vu has been discontinued. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this rumor? |

AT&T is still selling them and I found that they are going fast. Many times they are back ordered. I think they will be discontinued like so many of the phones are after a couple of years. They keep droping in price which is a hint. The Vu CU915 is no longer available. The one they are selling now is the Vu TV CU920. |

ATT and Best Buy have been out of stock for over 3 weeks. I just crushed my LG 500 in my recliner and wanted a VU to replace it, but noone has any.
LG is there a ship date on these phones? I don't want to waste my "upgrade" on some phone I just have to settle for. 2nd choice is like 2nd place, it's good but not the winner!!!! |

I got my Vue last week. I was told by ATT that it was on back order and would overnight it to me when it comes in. It came in two days later, so the back order was not really a back order I guess. If you want it, I would suggest you go ahead and order it and go on back order, chances are you will get it quick any way. Keep reading the posts about this phone. I like it but there are things you need to be aware about. This is not a business phone like a PDA. It has very limited contact list. By very limited I mean the I can't save addresses for my contacts. Also, be ready to buy protective screen covers, and a protective carry case. This phone is very nice, nice signal, easy to use, looks great and has a lot of appeal. But it is as posted by others a scratch and finger print magnet. I am constantly buffing it with a sham cloth to keep it shiny. I ordered a screen protector, a hard shell to protect the body from scratches and a leather carry case lined with smooth material to keep scratches, finger prints and dings off the phone. I will posts any issues I have with the phone for others to look at and make up their minds before buying. |

Update; After running around tthe BIG Corp. stores last night, I stopped by an Indy ATT store a half mile from home and they had the 920 in stock!!!! |
