I just bought a used lg shine off of ebay. I didnt pay attention to the auction in which it stated that the phone was in good working condition except for the phone was user locked. I was wondering if there is a way to remove the user lock or be able to reset the entie phone or am i just screwed now. Any help would be greatly welcomed. thank you

No no, a user lock would be like the security lock. The user set a (usually 4 digit) password and forgot it.

Try the last 4 of your phone number, since this may set the code when you insert your SIM. If not try dialing 2945#*# and send, there just select Factory reset.
