my incite's screen stopped responding to my touches and i cant get it to work...i've tried the soft reset but the problem persists...and when i try the hard reset all i get is a screen that says "EMERGENCY DOWNLOAD" and it never turns back on...i have to remove the battery in order to turn it back on but the screen still doesnt respond to my touches...

does anyone kno why thts happening? and does anyone kno what i can do to fix both problems(malfunctioning screen and hard reset problem)?

did you do a software update with the device? Did anything out of the usual happen before it started acting up?

no i did not download any update for the phone...and nothing out of the usual really happened except for yesterday a free trial of spb mobile shell expired and i uninstalled the program...other thn tht nothing else

My incite seems to be getting worse over time. I might have to touch up to 30 times just to get it to unlock. Then the second unlock wont work right away either...very frustrating! Once unlocked, it often has difficulty recognizing other commands. I'll clealy touch calendar at bottom of screen and instead it opens phone or contacts icon. I've recalibrated till the cows come home with no success.

My phone repeatedly has touch issues. sometimes it will act up for 3-4 days, then start working again. I recalibrate several times a day for 3-4 days and then it stays calibrated for a week or so, then the same process starts again.

Sounds like you might have a bad digitizer, or one that is going out. they sell new ones on Ebay for around $22 shipped. But take note, unless you have had some experience working on cells, i would advise taking it to someone who does.

crapp..... this happened to me but my screen wont work as in it stays black but glows.
