My LG Glimmer's touch screen stopped working today. We went to the pool and it's humid, but there appears to be no water damage or anything. All of the water damage detection spots are still white. So when I finally retrieved my phone from my bag at the end of the day, the touch screen wasnt working. I took out the battery and put it back in. That worked the first time. Then after one or two text messages, it stopped working again. It is now not working whatsoever. I tried several things that I found online, like using mailing tape to pull apart the screens and actually taking off the top screen and touching the censors. Still, nothing works. I then just turned it off and let it be. When I touch the screen, the buttons still light up like they feel something touching it, yet the buttons themselves all over do not register my touch. This is the first time ever my screen has seemed to not work. Is there anything I can do about this, or do I have to get a new phone? If anyone has a suggestion even, rather than an answer, please tell me. My mother would kill me if this phone breaks. Thanks for the Help!

Other than thoroughly gently drying the phone out with something like a hair dryer, and hoping it works, I'm not sure what else can be done.
