I bought a LG rhythm and after a week or so of use the slider on the phone has become somewhat grindy. I don't know why, I've tried using canned air. Any suggestions?

Anytime my phones have become dirty (grindy) from something I try to get creative with rubbing alcohol towlettes. I don't know about using compressed air on the phone.
