I have a Pioneer Bluetooth adapter with my Pioneer system in my truck. They both ( LG Voyager and Pioneer Blutooth) have the same profiles. When I press the "ADD NEW DEVICE" on my LG Voyager phone, it finds my Pioneer Bluetooth Adapter and logs all the info into the DEVICE INFO on the phone. Then it ask if I want to pair them, and then I press YES, the phone dose its thing and then it tells me that "THE DEVICE IS OUT OF RANGE OR POWERED OFF" or it tells me that "THE PAIRING IS INCOMPLETE" Know matter what I do it tells me the same thing. I put in the passcode of "0000" it tells me the same thing. I take the phone to VERIZON, they said I need a software upgrade and it will fix the problem. They said that they gave it an upgrade, but still no pairing together. The Pioneer Bluetooth Adapter is hooked up right because my Motorola V3m phone pairs with it with no problem. This has been driving me nuts now for awhile. Can anyone tell me how to pair these two together? Thank you

Even though both devices are Bluetooth capable doesn't mean that are both compatiable with each other. Check your documentation with your Pioneer Bluetooth adapter to make sure it is fully compatiable.

i had the same problem but i got it to work you have to turn your phone from hide to show in the bluetooth menu then have your radio find your phone and it should work from there on
