Love the phone, frustrated with its lack of ability to pair with bluetooth device, and its effect on usabilty.

I'm on my second Dare phone, and it exhibits the same problem as the first. It has trouble pairing with my handsfree motorola HF820 speaker. And when it does connect, it doesn't work right.

I have also found that when Bluetooth is on, the phone stops functioning properly. If someone calls me, I don't hear them. If I call out, the timer indicates a call is in progress but I never hear it dial or connect. The only way around this seems to be to turn the phone off and back on, then calling works fine again in and out. I have stopped using bluetooth for several weeks and phone is flawless. Then started using bluetooth again, problem returned.

Bluetooth not working or pairing is a real issue. Any Suggestions? I thought it was just the original phone, but since the second one does the same thing - I think its the Dare in general. I've never had a problem pairing the HF820 device to other phones. What do other people use? I don't want on on-the-ear device, just a wireless speaker than I can use to call and respond to calls hands-free while in the car.

Sorry that you are having a Bluetooth problem. I do know that the LG headsets do work best with the phones. It's been a little while since I have looked into any Dare BT issues. Let me take a closer look and get back to you.

Thanks for the reply. Has anyone gotten good results with the LG Solar Bluetooth Car kit? before I go out and spend more money for devices the Dare won't give me reliable results with.
