This is really an odd problem. My LG VX8575 has no problems sending files (pictures or videos) to my computer. I right click the Bluetooth icon in my tray and select "Receive File". On the phone I select "send via bluetooth". NO Problem it works

However when I try the same thing with my LG LX290, it keeps saying the "transfer failed", yet is says its paired with the computer. The computer shows the phone as one of the devices its linked to. So what is going on?

I looks like the LX290 does support the Bluetooth file transfer protocol. Unfortunately, even though Bluetooth is a set standard, some devices don't always work together.

It looks like you may need to use the USB cable to get the files between your phone and your PC...

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll just make sure I take pictures with the LX VX8575.
