I have a quick question. I have an Incite w/ AT&T and love it. After a month, I'm still finding features on it and free downloads within the community.

When I was researching the phone before I bought it, I thought I read something about it having Stereo Bluetooth. Is that true? I haven't tried to activate it yet but want to know before I invest in Stereo Bluetooth devices.

HI,

Yes, your Incite is Stereo Bluetooth capable. Just make sure the headset is stereo as well. I am interested to find out which headset you choose, and how it works for you.

Actually, I found a website offering a stereo bluetooth car kit with an FM Modulator (how cool is THAT?). I drive a lincoln with a factory Alpine stereo that has no AUX plugs or other way to hook up my Incite as an MP3 player. I thought that might be the perfect answer, offering handsfree speakerphone capabilities AND allow me to play my music through the stereo!

I think I'll invest in it and see.

Let me know which brand you get and how you like it. I am interested in getting some feedback on it.

The device I mentioned above is the Motorokr T505. It's a stereo bluetooth carkit with and FM modulator that can broadcast your stereo bluetooth audio through an FM Stereo. I ordered it last week and I got mine in last Friday. It actually works pretty good for what I use if for. Having said that, I sent it back today for an exchange. The volume up button wasn't working so you could barely hear out of it's speaker (volume down button worked fine...). The real reason I got it was for the stereo bluetooth and FM modulator. I mentoned before my car has a factory Alpine stereo that is too old to have an aux port or other way to connect a MP3 player.

I've loaded 20+ CD's onto my incite and needed a way to play them. the T505 pairs easily with the Incite, both audio and handsfree. When you activate the FM button, it searchs for and announces a vacant FM station to use. Tune your stereo to that station and BAM, your incite is broadcast throught the stereo. Both music and handsfree phone calls.

The quality is good. I played a CD and the same song through the Incite/T505/FM simultanously and - while you could tell some difference - the quality was at least as good as any FM broadcast. For the money, I'm pretty happy.

I got mine from www.cellxpo.com. It retails for $149. I found it a few places online for $69. cellxpo had it for $ 49 plus $6.95 shipping. I didn't realize it was an open box unit, though, and it was defective (see above). They were pretty good about giving me a return authorization to send it back for an exchange. Let's hope the exchange goes as well. Then I'll be happy.
