I currently have an LG Glimmer with Alltel. I also have the New Jawbone bluetooth headset. Knowing the technology of the Jawbone and how the headset works and how thenoise cancellation feature works I can't seem to get descent call quality and can't determine if it is the Jawbone or the Glimmer. People tell me it is echoey and staticy even if the VAS button is against my face.
This is my second Jawbone so I am beginning to think it may possibly be the phone but not sure. Jawbone Tech Support said to contact LG to see if they have had any complaints or problems with the call quality between the Glimmer and the Jawbone or if possibly there was a setting in the phone that I would need to change or adjust to get better quality. Also talked to Alltel and they couldn't help but to refer me to LG. I am beginning to get frustrated with this issue as I have a $400 phone and a $100 bluetooth and can't seem to get any resolution from either Jawbone or Alltel on the issue.Running into a brick wall getting any resolution on this and would really like to be able to use these two together. Any technical advice, tips, helpor suggestions to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Mike

There have been issues with several Jawbone BTs not pairing fully with LG phones and the Glimmer is one. The Glimmer is BT stereo but because the BT earpiece and the back of the Glimmer are both metal this will sometimes cause interference. |
