Not sure what good this forum will do for me, maybe let some frustration out. Been a Mototola user for the past 15 years and have had bluetooth on all my phones. NEVER have had the problem with the bluetooth pairing. I use the bluetooth about 75% of the time when I use the phone.I've owned some of the most expensive bluetooths out on the market, have had at least a dozen or so, I KNOW what works and what doesn't. The Motorolas that I've had the quality of sound, voice comands, etc were always around 95% But this Lg dare that I've had (2nd phone by the way) is only about 70%. The only Bluetooth that works fairly well is the Plantronics voyger 510 and the blue Parrott 150. All the others eigther won't stay paired up, or the auto pair doesn't work all the time. Sound quality is just ok. Voice comands don't always work. As mentioned before this is the second phone, the first one wouldn't pair up at all with two of my earpieces. Took it back updated the software, much better, still not right. Second phone had the software updated twice,,,each time the operation of the bluetooth with the earpeices got better, but still not what it should be,, (Got spoiled with the Motorola phones.) Called three different bluetooth Mfg. and they ALL said the samething, that "Lg in general has a hard time with there bluetooth software in there phones"
Can't fully understand with such a top of the line Cell phone why the bluetooth doesn't work properly. We've had tree Lg phones in are family and have had the same type of bluetooth problems with all of them.
Talked to the factory (Lg.) said send the phone back, yeah right use it for my business, not going to happen. Beound the 30 days with Verizon so I can't take it back. Get the same answer from Verizon and from Lg,,Never herd of this problem with this phone. Funny do a little research on the internet and theres alot of people with same type of problems, ie Cnet and also this forum.
Whats a consumer to do? Buy another brand. |
