This is mainly directed to the LG Pro (or anyone that can help, I guess)I have had my Dare for about 1 month now. I have noticed that on the ones that seem to have the clearest sound on both ends also have a problem when it comes to the voice commands. I have tried approx. 12+ different bluetooth headsets as well as my Garmin GPS which has handsfree capability and all of them have been less than satisfatory.. All the headsets have a hard time keeping a clear signal with the phone when I am outside, but even more important they do not seem to be able to properly communicate the voice commands. Most timesthey simply get the commands wrong. If I say "call" it wants to give me "contacts" or in some cases something completely different like " Software Version". I have tried training the voice commands through the headset. I have tried some very expensive and highly rated headsets (Jawbone 2, BlueAnt Z9i, Jabra BT530).It seemsthat the Dare phone is having some sort of software issue recognizing the voice commands unless I am in a perfectly quiet area. I have read on the forum that others are also having this issue. It is quite disheartening to buy a new cutting edge phone and have this type of problem. Is LG working on an upgrade that would solve this issue? Is LG aware of this issue? Please give me an update as to what I might do or where LG stands on this issue. Is there a heasdset that they might recommend. Perhaps one of the LG headsets would work better. Please help as I am growing very frustrated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your post. Are you having this issue with only the headsets or using voice commands without the headset as well? Also, what software version do you have on your DARE? If you are continuing to have issues, please contact the customer support line to see if they can get it resolved for you. However, if you can get me some information, I'll also forward it to our product team and try to get you an answer as soon as we can.

I to have had problems with the LG Dare voice commands. For that matter the bluetooth in general. I've had at least 12 different bluetooth devices, all of them name brand and expensive units. I use bluetooth about 4 to five hours every day and it important to me. One of the biggest problems is that after the bluetooth is paired up and you want to initiate a call from the bluetooth the voice commands are cut off at the beginning of the call. Sometimes you don't even hear the "Say a command" Just the beep after that. The next problem that I've had is the auto pair or discovery mode that you can put the phone in. It seams to me that once these options are put into the phone they should be permanent until otherwise opted out. Its annoying to get out of bluetooth range and then come back into range just to find out that 50% of the time that the phone never reconnected to the bluetooth. I would like to say that it was the bluetooth device but after trying these devices with other brands of phones in the past its not the bluetooth device. I've had the software updated twice on the phone and it hasn't help.
