I have the LG Vu CU920 and a Plantronics Voyager 855 stereo bluetooth headset. My issue isn't connection. It connects all the way. I see the icons at the top for the music playback capabilities and the stereo headset for the bluetooth phone capabilities. My problem is that the headset plays audio for video files that are on my phone, but it will not play any audio from mp3 or ringtones that are on my phone. Can anyone help? I called LG and they tell me that the Plantronics headset I have doesn't have A2DP. I called Plantronics and they tell me the version of the bluetooth on the phone is incompatible with the version on the headset. I don't know where to turn since I get the icons and sound for video. I can even get sound for video on Cingular video or any other video source. Just not straight audio only.

The headset is A2DP according to its datsheet, the Vu has stereo bluetooth capability, so this sounds like a defect issue in either the headset or the phone, but if it plays other audio from the phone I don't think it is the phone. I would try to exchange the headset or at least ry another stereo headset at the store to see if it plays the MP3s through another unit.

I Have the LG CU920 and the plantronics 220 bluetooth and my headset will play att video, video from my phone over the headset but it will not play ringtones or any of the other tones.
