I have the LG Incite and have it paired with a 2006 Acura TL (called Handsfree Link). My old phone used to transmit the call ringing when placing an outgoing call. The Incite does not. I have to look on my dash to see that the call status changes from "calling" to "in process".

Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

The Incite will not stay paired in my Ford Escape. From reading forums in an effort to find a solution, I noted that it won't pair on a BMW. That led me to begin searching the internet to see if I a car had been identified that it would pair with. I found there have been problems with it and Lexus as well as apparently all GM vehicles.

I have sought assistance from AT&T, since that's where I for the incite, in store, chat on line and telephone. I trid LG chat online and by phone. I tried Ford both online and at my dealership. Everybody blames it on somebody else and I am stuck. If you are still within you 30 days get that phone back to the place you purchased it just as fast as you can. I would also run from AT&T.

Hi, this is a known issue with JCI Bluetooth Systems (aka Handsfree Link). However I am surprised that your old phone was able to ring over the car speakers. There are a couple of things going on here.

First is that the carkit you are using is using Bluetooth version 1.2 where as the Incite is version 2.0. Yes, they are supposed to be backwards compatible and they are....to a certain extent.

Second For the issue you are having, unfortunately its not the phones fault or the carkit's, its just how the software was implemented at the time based on the specifications.

Are you having a problem with the actual call not transferring to the handsfree as well when you dial from the phone?
