I have Motorola phone tools software, but it even after being updated, does NOT recognize my new LG 9250.

I can download my phonebook, contact list etc. to my HP desktop, but I cannot find any way to transfer the data to my LG 9250

You might try an application called "SyncCell" www.synccell.com to see if it will help. It will read your Motorola and you should be able to transfer to your LG9250. There is a 30 day Trial for the software so you can try before you purchase it.

We do have a Microsoft Exchange plug in that will transfer contacts from Microsoft Exchange to some of the LG phones. I don't see that the LG 9250 is supported yet, But the 9250 is pretty much identical to the VX9200 for Verizon so the file systems should be identical allowing it to work. Another third party app that might work is BitPim at www.bitpim.org It does work with the VX9200 so if you use the VX9200 settings for your 9250 it should work as well. But I would test it first.

I don't have an LG9250 yet so I can't confirm it's compatibility with these applications.
